Did you know that a median is going in on 475 E? This will be to divert traffic to the proposed road on the general plan called South Bench Drive. I was able to call Brandon Jones, our city engineer, to get some clarifications and some misunderstandings about this road.
•Residents leaving 6650 will in fact be able to turn left. The will go slightly to the right, stop, and then go left.
•They have been in contact with the people who own homes directly in front of the median and have come to an agreement with them on how to work with them (see the added driveway/road thingy (forgive my vocabulary - my brain is tired).
•While a roundabout was considered, it requires a great deal of land. After numerous talks, the council felt this rendition worked best. It is hoped that it should be finished by end of October - particularly the section on 475. #morethan20
